We currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the information and why we have it
The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you. We will only use this information to contact you for the purpose of discussing how you can get involved in this study, if you chose to be participant in the evaluation we will share additional information and consent for this.
We use the information that you have given us to reply to your queries using a dedicated institutional mailbox account
We only share your information with the immediate project team who are authorised to work on the project and access the information.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are your consent. You can decide whether or not you provide this information. You are able to remove your consent at any time by contacting enhance@shu.ac.uk
How we store your personal information
Your information will be securely stored in a password protected and encrypted Sheffield Hallam University database, which only the research team has access to. We will keep your details until the end of the evaluation December 2026. We will then dispose your information by permanently removing from all archived projects, associated databases and the institutional mailbox account. Training will be provided by the University, and staff will also have expert advice available if needed.
Your data protection rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights including:
Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erase - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. Please contact us at enhance@shu.ac.uk if you wish to make a request.
Any changes to this privacy policy will be communicated to you via the email address supplied.
